Generate a Zoom Meeting ID for an Appointment Manually Overview This help article describes the steps to add a Zoom link to an appointment that doesn't have one. There may be a situation where an appointment was scheduled in-person and the client needs to switch to a virtual appointment on Zoom. Or a telephone appointment was scheduled, and it turns out the appointment needs to take place over Zoom. The system allows for a Zoom link to be generated manually. Note: a Zoom account must be linked to the Location or Caseworker in order for the system to be able to generate a Zoom link. Instructions Login to the Find Your Ally appointment portal as a Provider Administrator or Caseworker. Navigate to Bookings on the left-hand menu. Select the Booking ID of the appointment that needs a Zoom link and enter the edit screen of that booking. In the section near the top of the edit booking screen entitled Appointment Settings, there is a button to Add a Zoom meeting A reminder that the Add a Zoom meeting button will only be present if there is a Zoom account linked to the selected campus location or caseworker assigned to the appointment. Click on Add a Zoom meeting button and confirm that you want to add a Zoom meeting. Confirm that a Zoom meeting has been generated by looking in the Notes region toward the bottom of the page. A confirmation email will automatically be sent to the client once you've added the Zoom link info. The email will contain the Zoom link, Meeting ID, and Password. You can also copy and paste the Zoom meeting information into the Custom Email or Custom SMS region and Send Email and/or Send SMS with the Zoom meeting information. Was this article helpful? Yes No
