Configure MFA (also called 2FA) Click on Login Security on the left-hand navigation menu. Or click on the Configure 2FA link at the top of your screen. You will see a QR code. This QR code will be used in Step 5. Print or save the “Download recovery codes” file by clicking on the “Download” button. Save this information in a secure place as these codes can be used if you lose the device with the authenticator on it. Install and open an authenticator application on your smart phone or tablet. You can use an authenticator that you already have. If you do not already have one of these authenticators, they are available for free on the App Store or Google Play Store. These two authenticator apps are recommended. Others are available. Microsoft Authenticator (You can use this for multiple accounts if you already use this for your Outlook account.) Google Authenticator On the authenticator app, click on add new account (usually a plus sign). Scan the QR code on the Find Your Ally Webpage using your authenticator application. If you are accessing a site on a phone or tablet and cannot point the camera at the QR code, you can copy the line of letters and numbers below the QR code, and paste that in the authenticator application, using the application’s “manual” setup option. Your authenticator will display a six-digit code. This code changes every 30 seconds. Enter the 6-digit code into the box as shown below. Click on Activate. You are now set up with multi-factor authentication when you login to Find Your Ally. Since MFA (2FA) is required for Find Your Ally accounts, deactivating MFA will lock you out. If you do not have access to your phone when you login, you can ask the system to send an email with the 6-digit code instead of using the authenticator app. If you are unable to login or need assistance with setting up multi-factor authentication, please reach out to our Support Team at mailto:lsapsupport@foundationccc.org.
