Add or edit automated email templates Automated emails are sent by the Find Your Ally appointment portal. The emails fall into the following categories below. You can also find a definition of each Category under the Guideline button on the Email Templates pageConfirmation (sent after an appointment is booked)Cancellation (sent after an appointment is canceled)Reschedule (sent after an appointment is changed or updated)Reminder (sent before an appointment, multiple reminders can be scheduled)Pending (sent if the Location Setting is adjusted to "manually confirm each appointment")Waitlist (sent if a Waitlist is enabled and the client adds their name to a waitlist)No Show (sent if the appointment is marked as a No Show in the #FindYourAlly System)Other (fulfills any other automated or manual communication need, there can be multiple of these emails) InstructionsLogin to the Find Your Ally appointment portalNavigate to Email Templates in the left navigation menu Click Add New TemplateComplete the General sectionAdd a Template NameSelect an Email CategorySelect the Language of this templateComplete the Services & Locations section where this Email Template will applySelect the Service Category that this the email applies to: In Person, Virtual or bothSelect the specific Service and Location(s) this email applies to. Click the Add Pair button to choose additional services and locations.Complete the Timing section for when you'd like the email to be sentAmount is the amount of time and should be a whole numberPeriod is the time period, either minutes, hours, or daysSubsequence can either be before appointment or after schedulingThe Result area will list the selected timing. In the example above, this email will go out 5 minutes after someone has scheduled an appointmentComplete the Content Settings area. This area reflects the details of your emailAdd a Subject line for your emailAdd your name or organization's name in the From Name fieldAdd a Reply-to Email address and optional BCC email. If you want to BCC multiple email addresses, separate them with commas.Compose the body of your email in the Message Content session. Use the Data Placeholders dropdown to insert placeholders which will be filled with the custom information related to the appointment.Review the details of your email template, then click Publish.
