Share One Zoom Account Across Multiple Locations

One Zoom account can be shared across multiple campus locations. A reminder that one Zoom account can only hold one meeting at a time. If a Zoom account is shared across multiple locations, it is recommended that schedules are coordinated to avoid multiple meetings at the same time on the Zoom account.

Instructions

Establish the Parent or New Connection

Follow this help article to set up a New (Parent) Zoom Connection at a location

  • Be sure the New (Parent) Connection was set up to allow other Locations to share the connection.

Connect additional Locations

  1. Navigate to the edit screen for the campus location that will be a child connection of the existing parent connection.
  2. At the bottom of the edit screen, expand the Zoom Connection accordion.
  3. Select Existing Connection from the Connection Type area radio button options.

  1. Select the name of the location where the existing connection was made.

Don't see the location you are looking for? Make sure that the existing location connection was set up to be shared. Reach out to lsapsupport@foundationccc.org for more assistance.

  1. Click on Connect.
  2. The accordion wording will switch to say Connected to confirm that the shared child connection will be utilized for this location as well as the location where the parent was connected.
