Create or edit an SMS Template The Find Your Ally appointment portal sends automated text (SMS) messages to clients if the client enters their mobile phone number during the booking process. Currently the system can send messages in either English or Spanish according to the client's language preference in the intake form.More information about SMS text message templatesInstructions In the Find Your Ally portal, navigate to SMS Templates from the left Click Add SMS Template or utilize the search bar and filters on the right to find an existing SMS template. To edit an existing template, click on the Template Name Complete or update the General section by naming your SMS text message template, selecting a Category type and choosing a Language. Note: Different categories have different timing options in the "Send When" dropdown within the Timing section below. Confirmation: After scheduling (once client books). Before appointment (some time before the appointment). Reminder: Before appointment (some time before appointment). Reschedule: After rescheduling (once client reschedules). Pending: After scheduling(once client books) Cancelation: After Canceling (once after client cancels). No Show : After an appointment is marked as No Show Other: Before Appointment (some time before the appointment) . after appointment. (some time after appointment) Complete or update the Services & Locations section Check the Service Category type(s) that apply to this SMS text template Add a Service-Location pair by selecting the Service and Location for this SMS text template to apply to. You can customize different SMS text templates for different service types or locations based on their needs or available resources. Multiple pairs can be added. Complete or update the Timing section. The Result area will display when the SMS text will be sent based on your selections for Amount, Period and Send When. Complete the Content Settings: Write your message in the Message Content box. This is will be the content and details within your SMS Text Message. To make the text personal for each client, use the Data placeholders dropdown. What are placeholders? Think of these as "smart tags." When you select a tag like [APPOINTMENT_DATE], the system automatically swaps that tag for the actual date of the client's booking when the text is sent. This lets you send personalized details to everyone using just one single template. Save your progress: Click Save Draft to store your work without sending it yet.
